ABOUT YAQIN CORPORATION

Lets begin first by spelling and prononciation. here and there on internet, you can see Yaqin brand written Yaoin" or "yaohin". The good and only one spelling is YAQIN and for those who want to learn chinese prononciation is "Yachine".

The company has been created in 1999 and had a very important growth in the past 3 years. The factory is based in Foshan in the suburb of Canton and employ 30 staffs. Production capability is 500 units per month, ie mid-way between handcraft and mass -production.

YAQIN is specialised in manufacturing tube audio products, amplifiers, pre-amplifier and buffers. Mr Liang, CEO and founder of the company has worked in hifi industry for 20 years. He has made on purpose the choice of developping its product on the basis of PCB design. The original strategy was that a good PCB design is better than a bad or medium point to point wiring. Furthermore, PCB design allow a better quality control as all components are printed on the PCB.

Yaqin factory wire itself its power transformers and output transformers, from raw material as iron with silicon particules from 0,5 to 3% depending the models.

The company focus particularly on the test stage, with a full 48h testing before packing and shipment. This allow Yaqin products to have a low rate of after sale service.

Components use are half japanese origin and half chinese origin. The company prefers to use relyable chinese components than doubtious fake components of european or japanese brand as it is frequently done in some chinese "so called" high end products.

Due to these strategic choices, YAQIN can offer to audiophiles astonish quality-price products.

In march 2008, Yaqin has moved to a new more spacy and modern factory. The new bench allow to test up to 30 amplifiers at the same times. Below are some photos of our last visit in Foshan (April 2008).
